The Atlas ACF 4650 3-Bay Centerflow Covered Hopper is based on cars built by American Car & Foundry (ACF) in the 1960s, with another production run in the 1970s, these large capacity covered hoppers are still used to carry grain, salt, dried kaolin clay, sugar and other bulk materials that have to be protected from the weather.
