This four bladed, twin engine army helicopter is capable of combat, assault, medivac, personnel transport and more. In all, there are about 30 variants. The first entered service in 1979. Produced by Sikorsky, it is their longest production project ever. In use by about 20 nations, and after nearly 50 years, it remains the U.S. Armys versatile workhorse.

The newest modifications in this UH-60M variant (12135), include vertical exhaust stacks to reduce its heat signature; new blades and rotor head; the newest cockpit flight instrumentation; Radar Warning Receiver, chaff and flares to confuse enemy radar; M-type engine nozzle device.
